Mission: Ecuador

Eye Care: Weeden Team

Friday: Parada Siete

Parada Siete is in the Calderon area, just North of Quito where many of the churches we work with through "Project Great Commission" are. This was our first day; we didn't know how it would really go even though we spent a good deal of time training the church members the night before. Well, it went so smoothly we were astonished! The only problem we encountered, which was a common theme in other churches, was that we were a bit thin in regards to patients in the early morning... but Dr. Weeden never sat idle and we saw around 180 people. We ended the day with a nice service where we were treated to some indigenous music.
