I Corinthians13:2 - And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
These are real needs of fellow Christians here in Ecuador that we are personally involved with. They love Jesus, and are sacrificing more than you and I can imagine for the advancement of his Kingdom. We cannot help everyone, but together as the body of Christ, we can reach those God has in our path. (2 Cor 8:14, 15).
* The "Great Commission" project - working with a group of indigenous churches to train and disciple them to in turn become churches that effectively carry out the Great Commission. Read more about this project.
* Poor missions and churches in the surrounding countryside need bibles for new Christians who don't have the means to buy one (yes, people really are that poor here). Send a donation to NBRI noting that it is for the Bond family and also "Bibles".
* Sponsor a young indigenous child to go to school. This includes, pension, books and supplies, three school uniforms, monthly fees, and 50 cents a day for lunch. At presesent, the cost is $240 per year.
* We are trying to raise money for a second, badly needed vehicle.* Opportunities for short term mission groups: Come here and help through evangelism, discipleship, special "church camp" events for kids, and other outreach programs. We mainly working with people living in the outlying areas around Quito. They are mainly agricultural and/or blue collar workers. There is also an orphanage where lots of help, and lots of love are needed. We host a limited number of teams per year; they are well organized, with hard work and blessings for all. The general cost is about $65 per day plus your airfare (some specialized trips may cost more, but we provide a budget ahead of time).

Prayer Requests
In addition to asking for prayer for the above ministry needs, we would like you to pray for:
* The Ecuadorian missionaries we have trained and their work into areas that don't have churches; La Rosalia, La Rumiñahui, La Victoria, and San Vicente.
* A new area without a church is our next target area; "Buena Esperanza". Pray for the opportunity to enter this closed community.
* Melissa is here as a recent graduate from Ole Miss, and teaching Calculus at the Alliance Academy.
* Andrea and her new life in Oklahoma.
* An Ecuadorian missionary to be raised up for our work in the Galapagos Islands, and the world.
* Our growing team members (Ecuadorian) and the need for more to do the work.
* Our language skills and our ability to share God's love with those around us.
* Protection from harm and evil, as we are tremendous targets both physically and spiritually here in this dark place. It is relentless.
