Friday: a Day in the Jungle

This day was a special treat in many ways. We got to visit the coastal rainforest, about 2 hours from Quito and experience a complete change in climate/environment. We also got to minister to some new Christians that I have come to love. They live in a really remote area on winding dirt roads up in the Andes Mountains. Tony and Barbara are a unique couple who live in what I call "the Garden of Eden", and we all got to enjoy life in a very primitive form; and most importantly worship God together.
Later, we stopped and ate at a unique restaurant where you catch your own trout for dinner!
