Project: Sponsor a Child

Welcome to a new project, thanks to the idea of a friend of mine. Here we have pictured some of the families from "Nueva Vida" church in Chambitola, where we have been working for a year now. Each family has one of their children featured, with the opportunity to sponsor that child for the costs of attending school. This includes, pension, books and supplies, three school uniforms, monthly fees, and 50 cents a day for lunch.

The cost is $20 per month averaged over 12 months. However, please keep in mind that about $100 of the total cost is due in September, because it's the beginning of the school year. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a child from this poor farming community where every penny counts. All of the children featured are regular attenders at "Nueva Vida" church, although some of the parents are not. All of the families are "Quichua" Indians, and are farmers. Chambitola community is about 45 minutes up a cobblestone road from the highway into the remote mountains at 11,400 ft.

If you are interesting in sponsoring one of our "church kids", please send me an email at rod@rodbond.com .
