A New Work in Chambitola

New Life Baptist Church in the shadow of Cayambe volcano, in the Chambitola community is one of our new works. It is high in the mountains at 11, 400 ft and about 45 minutes up a cobblestone and dirt road from the main road. the people are precious and we are excited about the opportunity to start our discipleship program with them.

A quiet and shy people, they have never seen anything like the preaching brother Kenny Digby layed on them through Fernando our interpreter! A number of people gave their heart's to the Lord, including the pastor's daughter. Others recommited their lives to the Lord. We also got to fit some of the members with reading glasses, and pass out dental care kits to all of the kids. The team also presented a pastor's library purchased by Billy Taylor to Pastor Pedro.
