Mission: Ecuador

January '07 : Building a Dream

Faces and Other Interesting Things

Faces and the relationships built during the trip were the most precious memories. We spent a lot of time playing with the kids, and interacting with the people. Our bus driver gave his heart to the Lord on our second day together, and Fernando, my ministry partner, spent the next week intensively discipling him. The team saw many new and strange things, and really enjoyed the experiences. Eating guinnea pig, experiencing a community that only sometimes has water, holding a "clothes closet", and working side by side. The team brought tons of clothes, toys, and teeth care products... and we took time to share them with the folks.
