This was the most unusual day of the week. We went two hours to the coastal rainforest, near "MINDO" and visited some friends at their remote home in the mountains. No electricity. No phone of any kind (cell phones won't work there either). But a visit to the closest thing to the "Garden of Eden" that I've found so far, complete with a thousand hummingbirds. Tony and his wife Barbara are unique to say the least, and are new Christians who don't get the opportunity to go to church due to the remoteness of their home. We have ministered to them in the past; sharing a bible and other Christian literature, as well as holding informal services with them. This time was a little more special than others, as we found out that Barbara is battling cancer and asked for prayer. We had a profoundly touching praise service and devotional, and prayed over her as a group. We really felt the presence of God and continue to pray for His healing hand in her life.
